Theron Barrows

Theron Barrows (born 1812, Corinth, Saratoga County, New York) was a blacksmith and the father of M.T. Barrows, a prominent later resident of Dundee, Illinois. He is known primarily through the 1898 biographical sketch of his son published in *The Biographical Record of Kane County, Illinois*. Theron was of English descent; according to that source, three Barrows brothers emigrated early to America, and the family became established in New York state across multiple generations.
