Increase C. Bosworth (April 2, 1812 – date of death unknown) was an early settler of Dundee and a prominent figure in Kane County civic and financial life. Born in Greenfield, Saratoga County, New York, he came to Illinois in 1836 and located at Dundee in 1838, where he resided for nearly three decades before removing to Elgin in 1867. He is best remembered locally for his service as Supervisor of Dundee Township and his later role as President of the First National Bank of Elgin.
